TEA COLLECTION
The current range includes Chinese, Taiwanese and Japanese tea; oolong; sheng and shu pu-erh; yancha; Dancong; Da Hong Pao; Tie Guan Yin; Taiwanese high-mountain oolong; GABA tea; green, white and black tea; yerba mate; and selected ethnobotanical infusions. Availability of individual teas can change.
GONGFU TEA
For suitable Chinese or Taiwanese teas, ILLUSEUM can provide a gongfu set at the table, using a teapot or gaiwan with a hot-water thermos. Staff explain the basic sequence when a visitor has not used the equipment before. The service is self-guided at the table rather than automatically presented as a hosted formal ceremony.
PRIVATE TEA CEREMONIES
Private tea ceremonies are available by advance booking for up to four participants. A session usually lasts about two hours and can be conducted in Latvian, English or Russian. The owner-provided price range is €25–€50; the exact price and what it covers must be confirmed when booking.
